ReplyDeleteHello! How can I make the width wider without ruining the pattern? Could I do multiple of 8 + 5?
ReplyDeleteBrittany Acosta - the multiple is 6+5, so you need to use any multiple of 6. For example, 36 (multiple of 6) + 5 = 41 stitches. As long as you use a multiple of six, the pattern will work.
ReplyDeleteIf you're decreasing ever three rows when making the knots how can you use this pattern? I guess I missing how you pick the stiches back up.
ReplyDeleteThe stitch count remains constant because even though you are working three stitches together, you are making three new stitches at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThank you go a very lovely stitch pattern. I am using it now on a knitted pillow cover and I love it.However I realize that on the pattern instructions, on row 7, the instructi on ought to read "to the last 4 stitches, knit 4" instead of "knit 1*.
ReplyDeleteHello, thank you for the pattern and video. i have run into a problem after trying several times today to do this stitch. I seem to keep adding stitches just after doing row 7.
ReplyDeleteAny advice, guidance and help is appreciated as I am a novice knitter who really likes the look of this pattern. Thank you for your time and considerations. Sincerely, Serena.
If you have extra stitches, it sounds like you are making unnecessary increases. Perhaps you are making yarn overs when moving the yarn back and forth when working the same three stitches together? That is the only thing I can think of.
