Telescope Lattice

Sample knit with Malabrigo Worsted, Deborah Norville US Size 10 needles

Multiple of 12 + 2

BC = Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in back of work, knit 2 sts from left needle, then knit the 2 sts from cable needle

FC = Slip 2 sts to cable needle and hold in front of work, knit 2 sts from left needle, then knit the 2 sts from cable needle

Row 1 (WS) and all WS Rows:  Purl
Rows 2 and 6: Knit
Row 4: K1 *BC, K4, FC* K1
Row 8: K1 *K2, FC, BC, K2* K1

Repeat these 8 Rows for the pattern.

    I would like to make this stitch in a rectangular shape (higher) would I simply add an extra row of knit and purl between the cable rows?
