Cast on 9 stitches
Row 1 (rs): sl, k4, yo, k2tog, yo(2), p2
Row 2: yo, k2, p1, k2, yo, k2tog, k3
Row 3: sl, k4, yo, k2tog, p4
Row 4: Bind off 2 sts, k3, yo, k2tog, k3
Repeat these four rows for the pattern.
